چکیده

Recombinases are in part responsible for homologous recombination and genome integrity during DNA repair. DMC1 has a typical RecA domain, belongs to the recombinase superfamily. The reactive oxygen species (ROS) as potent damage agent is produced seed germination under stress conditions. repair should be initiated immediately allow subsequent seedling development. In this study, we attempted characterize underlying mechanism of BrDMC1 responsiveness salinity using RNA interference approach Brassica rapa (B. rapa). Bioinformatics expression pattern analysis revealed that only retained BrDMC1.A01 after whole triplication (WGT) event was primarily transcribed flowers seeds. had high activity promoter region germination, according histochemical GUS staining. data showed salt treatment reduced rate, weakened vigor decreased antioxidant enzyme activity, but increased oxidative BrDMC1-RNAi Furthermore, stress-responsive genes significantly different transgenic lines exposed stress. Therefore, may respond by controlling stress-related B. rapa.

Identification of Rapeseed MicroRNAs Involved in Early Stage Seed Germination under Salt and Drought Stresses

Drought and salinity are severe and wide-ranging abiotic stresses that substantially affect crop germination, development and productivity, and seed germination is the first critical step in plant growth and development. To comprehensively investigate small-RNA targets and improve our understanding of miRNA-mediated post-transcriptional regulation networks during Brassica napus seed imbibition ...

Variability in Cynara cardunculus L. Tunisian Populations: Seed Germination under Salt Stress

Cynara cardunculus.L exhibits an important adaptability to arid and semi-arid regions where high salinity is frequently present. Aiming to introduce its cultivation in the Mediterranean environment especially in Tunisia, it seemed interesting to study seed germination of eight populations of cardoon in four concentrations of NaCl: 0g/L, 2g/L, 4g/L, and 8g/L. Our results showed a good variabilit...

Transcriptome Analysis of Canola (Brassica napus) under Salt Stress at the Germination Stage

Canola (Brassica napus) is one of the most important oil crops in the world. However, its yield has been constrained by salt stress. In this study, transcriptome profiles were explored using Digital Gene Expression (DGE) at 0, 3, 12 and 24 hours after H2O (control) and NaCl treatments on B. napus roots at the germination stage. Comparisons of gene-expression between the control and the treatmen...

A rice F-box gene, OsFbx352, is involved in glucose-delayed seed germination in rice

F-box proteins play diverse roles in regulating numerous physiological processes in plants. This study isolated a gene (OsFbx352) from rice encoding an F-box domain protein and characterized its role in seed germination. Expression of OsFbx352 was upregulated by abscisic acid (ABA). The transcripts of OsFbx352 were increased upon imbibition of rice seeds and the increase was markedly suppressed...

Proteomic Analysis Reveals Proteins Involved in Seed Imbibition under Salt Stress in Rice

Enhancement of salinity tolerance during seed germination is very important for direct seeding in rice. In this study, the salt-tolerant japonica landrace Jiucaiqing was used to determine the regulators that are involved in seed imbibition under salt stress. Briefly, the comparative proteomic analysis was conducted between dry (0 h) and imbibed (24 h) seeds with 150 mM NaCl. Under salt stress, ...
